Welcome to Orlando English and Translation Spot!

Welcome to Orlando English and Translation Spot!

While the blog originates in Orlando, Florida, the focus is far beyond that location.

Three main topics fuel this blog:

1)  Translation,
Orlando English and Translation Spot2)  VIP Interpretation,
3)  Transcription, and
4)  Better English.

Let’s now review each of these topics and the content you can expect on the Orlando Translation and English Spot blog.

Orlando Translation

I, Professor Winn, am a certified Spanish and Portuguese to English translator. https://atranslationace.com

I studied Translation Studies at Florida International University and have over 8 years of part-time experience translating in countries where Spanish and Portuguese are spoken.

From business and government documents to tourist brochures and blog posts, I enjoy parsing words, conveying the meaning of words from one language to another, and producing a project in perfect English.

Spanish and Portuguese are among the top 10 languages in the world.
However, English is the lingua franca in business, diplomacy, arts, science, and entertainment.

You can amplify your message to your audience by converting your audio, video, and text from Spanish or Portuguese into English.

Orlando VIP Interpretation

Translation is the conversion of text in one language to text in another language.

Orlando VIP InterpretationInterpretation is the conversion of words in one language to words in another language.

Unfortunately, the two distinct actions are often confused among the media and general public.

Visitors to Orlando, whether for business or leisure, sometimes require top notch services and expert attention when one party speaks Spanish and another does not.

That is why I am available for VIP Interpretations to help mainly business professionals to bridge cultural gaps and nail the deal they seek.
Language should not be a barrier.

Perhaps you need a presentation in Spanish translated to English before a big meeting the next morning.

VIP Interpretation in Orlando might include accompanying you to a luncheon or dinner where major business deals are sealed.

Let me – Professor Winn – to help you whether in Spanish or English to get the agreement for more goods and services.

Consecutive interpretation and whispered interpretation are most typical for VIPs.

Consecutive interpretation involves taking notes of what is heard and relaying that message to the other speaker.

This written form of interpretation involves close work between the two parties.
On the other hand, whispered interpretation requires the interpreter to relay the message in a quiet, non-invasive but effective manner.

Whatever form of interpretation you choose, the needs of the VIP are taken care of and even exceeded.

VIP Interpretation in Orlando involves both interpretations (speech) and translations (text) to make your visit a success!

Send Professor Winn today details of how he can help you on your next visit to Orlando!

Orlando Transcription

Transcription is the act of typing up words of an audio or video to text.
Businesses have many reasons for investing in transcriptions.

Professor Winn can take your audio and video and product a transcript to preserve the written record of a business event, meeting, or training material, for example.

Transcribing can help businesses to comply with laws such as CFR 79.1 - Closed captioning of televised video programming.

Even the smallest business can use transcriptions to help the disabled to understand their message and consumer their goods and services.
